Passionate about bringing valuable hand-crafted work back to life, I make creative repairs and bespoke alterations to garments spanning the 19th century to 21st century.

Alterations include: Zip replacement, patching, beadwork, alteration amendments, invisible mending, repairs of holes/rips, hem adjustments, application of appropriate fastenings (e.g. hook & eye), pattern making, creative repairs, bespoke hand embroidery. 

Vintage Bridal
Vintage or second-hand dresses are a timeless, meaningful, sustainable alternative. These garments connect us to the past, each piece telling a story through its unique design and craftsmanship. Vintage bridal wear is made with enduring quality and often features high-quality fabrics that are unmatched by most modern ones.



I loved restoring this exquisite early 1900s silk wedding dress. The high neck of antique lace and silk panelled back were both re-designed, maintaining the original style of this unique edwardian period look.
